Abstract

In March 2025, Nunukan Regency recorded a year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation rate of 2.11 percent, with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 108.95. The inflation was mainly driven by rising prices in most expenditure groups, particularly food, beverages and tobacco; restaurants; and personal care and other services. Meanwhile, deflation occurred in health; information, communication, and financial services; as well as recreation, sports, and culture groups. Additionally, the month-to-month (m-to-m) inflation was recorded at 2.75 percent, and the year-to-date (y-to-d) inflation stood at 1.51 percent.
