Abstract

In November 2024, there was year-on-year (y-on-y) inflation in Nunukan Regency of 2.43 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.87.

The y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: Clothing and footwear by 11.82 percent, provision of food and beverages/restaurants by 8.48 percent, personal care and other services by 3.24 percent, food, beverage and tobacco by 2.96 percent, and transportation by 0.49 percent. Several expenditure groups experienced a decrease in the Index or deflation, namely: household equipment, tools and routine maintenance by 2.4 percent, health by 1.48 percent, information, communication, and financial services by 0.81 percent, recreation, sports, and culture by 0.68 percent, and housing, water, electricity, and household fuel by 0.42 percent. The education group in November 2024 did not contribute significantly to y-on-y inflation in Nunukan Regency.
In November 2024, Nunukan Regency experienced month-to-month deflation (m-to-m) of 0.38 percent and year-to-date inflation (y-to-d) of 0.81 percent.
