In October 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in North Kalimantan Province will be 2.20 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 105.39. The highest inflation occurred in Nunukan Regency at 3.74 percent with a CPI of 107.28 and the lowest occurred in Tanjung Selor at 0.88 percent with a CPI of 104.78.
Y-on-y inflation in North Kalimantan Province occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in the expenditure group index, namely: food, beverage and tobacco group by 4.27 percent; clothing and footwear group at 3.67 percent; health group at 0.51 percent; transportation group at 0.78 percent; education group by 0.30 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 3.30 percent; personal care and other services group amounted to 6.12 percent. Meanwhile, the groups that experienced a decline in the index were the housing, water, electricity and household fuel groups by 0.58 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.78 percent; information, communication and financial services group at 0.28 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 0.08 percent.
North Kalimantan Province in October the month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate was 0.17 percent and the year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate was 0.98 percent.
