Abstract

In April 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Nunukan Regency will be 3.17 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 107.

Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 5.54 percent; clothing and footwear group by 10.64 percent; transportation group by 1.02 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 2.71 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 5.23 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 1.28 percent. The index for the housing, water, electricity and household fuel group experienced a decline or deflation of 0.97 percent. Likewise, the equipment, equipment and routine household maintenance group was 1, and the information, communication and financial services group experienced deflation of 0.79. The education group in April 2024 did not make a significant contribution to inflation y-on-y in Nunukan Regency.

In April 2024, inflation month to month (m-to-m) and year to date (y-to-d) in Nunukan Regency was 0.28 percent and 0.93 percent, respectively.
