  •  In July 2024, international visitor arrivals in Indonesia were 1.31 million. International visitors increased by 9.42 percent compared with June 2024 (m-to-m) and 16.91 percent compared with July 2023 (y-on-y). International visitor arrivals in July 2024 were dominated by Malaysian (13.56 percent), Australian (12.73 percent), and Chinese (9.62 percent). 
  • The number of domestic tourism trips in July 2024, reached 77.24 million. This number decreased by 7.46 percent compared with June 2024 (m-to-m), but increased by 4.83 percent compared with July 2023 (y-on-y). Cumulatively, from January to July 2024, domestic tourism trips recorded 598.72 million trips. It increased 18.03 percent compared with the same period in the previous year (c-to-c). 
  • In July 2024, the number of outbound trips was 917.80 thousand trips. It increased by 7.23 percent compared with June 2024 (m-to-m), and 12.46 percent compared with the same month in the previous year (y-on-y). Malaysia became the leading destination country for outbound trips in July 2024 (33.14 percent), followed by Saudi Arabia (18.33 percent), Singapore (12.86 percent), and Thailand (5.18 percent). 
  • The room occupancy rate (ROR) of star hotels in July 2024 was 56.36 percent, which increased by 1.72 percentage points compared with July 2023 (y-on-y) and 1.66 percentage points compared with the previous month (m-to-m). Meanwhile, the room occupancy rate of non-star hotels was 28.02 percent, which increased by 2.28 percentage points compared with July 2023 (y-on-y) and 0.37 percentage points compared with the previous month (m-to-m). The average length of stay at star hotels in July 2024 was 1.61 nights, which decreased by 0.07 percentage points compared with July 2023 (y-on-y).
