Abstract

In January 2024, year on year (y-on-y) inflation in Nunukan Regency will be 2.98 percent with a Consumer Price Index (CPI) of 106.10.
Y-on-y inflation occurred due to an increase in prices as indicated by an increase in most expenditure group indices, namely: the food, beverage and tobacco group by 6.6 percent; housing, water, electricity and household fuel group at 0.27 percent; equipment, tools and routine household maintenance group of 0.46 percent; health group by 1.35 percent; transportation group by 1.04 percent; recreation, sports and culture group at 1.41 percent; food and beverage/restaurant provision group at 5.32 percent; and the personal care and other services group at 0.36 percent. The indices for the clothing and footwear group and the information, communication and financial services group experienced a decline of -3.44 percent and -0.94 percent respectively. For the education group there was no change.
The month to month (m-to-m) inflation rate and year to date (y-to-d) inflation rate for Nunukan Regency in January 2024 are 0.08 percent each.
