Abstract

The composite Producer Price Index (PPI) of the three sectors (Agriculture, Mining and Quarrying, and Manufacturing) in quarter IV-2023 rose 0.18 percent against quarter III-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 0.03 percent against quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI of the Agricultural Sector in quarter IV-2023 rose 1.70 percent against quarter III-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 6.08 percent against quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI of the Mining and Quarrying Sector in quarter IV-2023 decreased by 6.99 percent compared to quarter III-2023 (q-to-q) and decreased by 20.95 percent against quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI of the Manufacturing Sector in quarter IV-2023 rose 1.18 percent against quarter III-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 3.36 percent against quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y). The PPI for the Electricity and Gas Supply in quarter IV-2023 rose 0.08 percent against quarter III-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 0.74 percent against quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Water Supply in quarter IV-2023 rose 0.13 percent compared to quarter III-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 0.97 percent against quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Passenger Transportation Sector in quarter IV-2023 increased by 1.43 percent against quarter III-2023 (q-to-q) and rose 3.27 percent against quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Accommodation and Food Beverage Sector in quarter IV- 2023 increased by 0.16 percent and 0.99 percent compared to quarter III- 2023 (q-to-q) and quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y), respectively.
The PPI for the Education Services sector in quarter IV-2023 rose 1.87 percent and 3.60 percent against quarter III-2023 (q-to-q) and compared to quarter IV-2022 (y-on-y), respectively.
The PPI of the Health Services Sector in quarter IV-2023 rose 1.00 percent against quarter III-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 5.06 percent against quarter IV-2022 (y-o-y)
