Abstract

The composite Producer Price Index (PPI) of the three sectors (Agriculture, Mining and Quarrying, and Manufacturing) in quarter I-2023 rose 0.76 percent against quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 6.76 percent against quarter I-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI of the Agricultural Sector in quarter I-2023 rose 2.57 percent against quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 6.05 percent against quarter I-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI Mining and Quarrying Sector in quarter I-2023 decreased by 3.16 percent compared to quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 19.72 percent against quarter I-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI Manufacturing Sector in quarter I-2023 rose 1.17 percent against quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 4.31 percent against quarter I-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Electricity and Gas Supply in quarter I-2023 rose 0.18 percent against quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 2.46 percent against quarter I-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Water Supply in quarter I-2023 rose 0.53 percent compared to quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 1.21 percent against quarter I-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Passenger Transportation Sector in quarter I-2023 decreased by 0.04 percent against quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and rose 18.00 percent against quarter I-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Accommodation and Food Beverage Sector in quarter I-2023 increased by 0.30 percent and 1.54 percent compared to quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and quarter I-2022 (y-on-y), respectively.
The PPI for the Education Services sector in quarter I-2023 rose 0.16 percent and 2.33 percent against quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and compared to quarter I-2022 (y-on-y), respectively.
The PPI of the Health Services Sector in quarter I-2023 rose 2.09 percent against quarter IV-2022 (q-to-q) and increased by 4.00 percent against quarter I-2022 (y-on-y).
