Abstract

The composite Producer Price Index (PPI) of the three sectors (Agriculture, Mining and Quarrying, and Manufacturing) in quarter III-2023 rose 0.08 percent against quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 0.75 percent against quarter III-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI of the Agricultural Sector in quarter III-2023 rose 0.83 percent against quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 6.91 percent against quarter III-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI of the Mining and Quarrying Sector in quarter III-2023 decreased by 3.77 percent compared to quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and decreased by 17.48 percent against quarter III-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI of the Manufacturing Sector in quarter III-2023 rose 0.68 percent against quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 3.57 percent against quarter III-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Electricity and Gas Supply in quarter III-2023 rose 0.39 percent against quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 1.50 percent against quarter III-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Water Supply in quarter III-2023 rose 0.25 percent compared to quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 0.93 percent against quarter III-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Passenger Transportation Sector in quarter III-2023 increased by 0.86 percent against quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and rose 4.83 percent against quarter III-2022 (y-on-y).
The PPI for the Accommodation and Food Beverage Sector in quarter III-2023 increased by 0.20 percent and 1.11 percent compared to quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and quarter III-2022 (y-on-y), respectively.
The PPI for the Education Services sector in quarter III-2023 rose 1.41 percent and 2.03 percent against quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and compared to quarter III-2022 (y-on-y), respectively.
The PPI of the Health Services Sector in quarter III-2023 rose 1.22 percent against quarter II-2023 (q-to-q) and increased by 5.10 percent against quarter III-2022 (y-on-y).
