Abstract

Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is one of the indicators to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchange rate (terms of trade) of agricultural products with goods and services consumed or for production costs.
NTP of North Kalimantan Province December 2024 was 114.82 or an increase of 0.36 percent compared to NTP November 2024. The increase in NTP was due to an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.75 percent or faster than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which increased by 0.39 percent.
NTP per subsector of North Kalimantan Province December 2024, namely Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 102.74; Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 101.84; The Exchange Rate for Plantation Farmers (NTPR) is 195.03; the Exchange Rate for Livestock Farmers (NTPT) is 101.07; and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Farmers (NTNP) is 98.84.
The Exchange Rate for Agricultural Household Businesses (NTUP) of North Kalimantan Province in December 2024 was 118.58 or an increase of 0.67 percent compared to the NTUP of the previous month.
In December 2024, there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan Province by 0.46 percent with the highest increase occurring in the Food, Beverages and Tobacco group of 0.69 percent.
