Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
North Kalimantan Province's NTP in October 2024 was 114.07 or an increase of 0.63 percent compared to the September 2024 NTP. The increase in NTP was caused by an increase in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) by 0.88 percent or faster than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib ) which experienced an increase of 0.25 percent.
NTP per subsector of North Kalimantan Province October 2024, namely the Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 103.23; Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) of 101.7; People's Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 185.31; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) was 102.43; and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 100.01.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for North Kalimantan Province in October 2024 was 117.31 or an increase of 0.67 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In October 2024 there will be an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan Province by 0.24 percent with the highest increase.
