Abstract

The number of domestic air transport passengers departing in November 2023 was 5.2 million, a decrease of 1.51 percent compared to October 2023. International air transport passengers decreased by 7.51 percent to 1.3 million. From January to November 2023, the number of domestic air transport passengers was 57.0 million, increasing by 20.66 percent. The number of international air transport passengers was 14.1 million and increased by 135.11 percent compared to the same period in 2022.
The number of domestic sea transport passengers departing in November 2023 was recorded at 1.6 million, decreasing by 3.93 percent compared to October 2023. The freight transported by domestic sea transport decreased by 3.84 percent, turning 30.0 million tons. From January to November 2023, the number of domestic sea transport passengers reached 18.0 million and increased by 11.66 percent compared to the same period in 2022. Meanwhile, freight increased by 9.69 percent, reaching 322.2 million tons.
The number of railway passengers departing in November 2023 was 32.9 million people, which decreased by 2.02 percent compared to October 2023. On the contrary, freight transported by train increased by 5.34 percent to 5.7 million tons. The number of passengers reached 336.5 million from January to November 2023 and increased by 36.07 percent compared to the same period in 2022. Moreover, the cumulative freight transported by train rose 8.62 percent to 60.9 million tons.
