  • Of the 90 national CPI monitoring cities, in October 2023, the highest year on year (yoy) inflation was the city of Tanjung Pandang at 5.43 percent, the city of Sumenep at 5.29 percent and the city of Merauke at 4.89 percent. Meanwhile, the cities with the lowest inflation were Jayapura city at 1.43 percent, Banda Aceh city at 1.65 percent and Tanjung Selor city at 1.84 percent.
  • The combined prices of goods/services for Tarakan City and Tanjung Selor City in October 2023 experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 2.21 percent with monthly deflation (mtm) of -0.01 percent. Tanjung Selor City experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 1.84 percent with monthly inflation (mtm) of 0.46 percent. Tarakan City experienced year on year (yoy) inflation of 2.31 percent with monthly deflation (mtm) of -0.13 percent.
