Of the 90 cities monitored by the national CPI, in September 2022, 88 cities experienced inflation and 2 cities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Bukittinggi City at 1.87 percent and the lowest inflation was in Merauke City at 0.07 percent. Meanwhile, the highest deflation was found in Manokwari City at -0.64 percent and the lowest deflation was found in Timika City with a deflation of -0.59 percent.
The combined price of goods/services for the City of Tarakan and the City of Tanjung Selor in September 2022 experienced an inflation of 1.04 percent. Tarakan City experienced inflation of 0.97 percent and Tanjung Selor City experienced inflation of 1.32 percent.
The combined inflation of Tarakan City and Tanjung Selor City was influenced by price increases in the transportation group by 8.10 percent, in the personal care and other services group by 0.48 percent, in the equipment, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by 0.04 percent. , clothing and footwear group by 0.02 percent, health group by 0.00 percent, information, communication and financial services group by 0.00 percent, recreation, sports and culture group by 0.00 percent, education group by 0, 00 percent and the food and beverage/restaurant supply group is 0.00 percent.
