  • Generally, domestic tourism in Indonesia was still dominated by the flow of tourist trips on Jawa Island. This domination was evidenced by 76.54 percent of domestic tourist trips from Jawa. Jawa Island was also the main destination for domestic tourists in 2022, which accounts for 75.49 percent of the entire domestic tourist trips in Indonesia.
  • The number of domestic tourists has experienced positive growth compared with conditions before the COVID-19 pandemic.
