Abstract

The economy of Nunukan Regency in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the second quarter of 2024 experienced a growth of 2.56 percent (q-to-q). In terms of production, the highest growth occurred in the primary sector at 2.65 percent. In terms of expenditure, the growth of the Household Final Consumption Component was 0.57 percent and the PMTB component was 0.08 percent.

The economy of Nunukan Regency in the third quarter of 2024 compared to the third quarter of 2023 experienced a growth of 4.28 percent (y-on-y). In terms of production, the highest growth was achieved by the secondary sector at 12.25 percent. From the expenditure side, the growth of the Household Final Consumption component was 5.90 percent and the government consumption component was 4.62 percent.

Until the third quarter of 2024, the economy of Nunukan Regency experienced a growth of 3.93 percent (c-to-c). From the production side, growth was driven by the growth of all sectors, where the highest was achieved by the secondary sector at 11.43 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the PMTB component at 8.25 percent.

Spatially, the economic structure of the North Kalimantan Province in the third quarter of 2024 was dominated by Tarakan City at 37.35 percent and the smallest was Tana Tidung Regency at 5.99 percent.
