Farmer Exchange Rate (NTP) is a comparison of the price index received by farmers (It) to the price index paid by farmers (Ib).
NTP is an indicator to see the level of ability/purchasing power of farmers in rural areas. NTP also shows the exchangeability (terms of trade) of agricultural products for goods and services consumed and for production costs.
NTP for North Kalimantan Province in June 2024 was 112.77 or down -0.16 percent compared to NTP in May 2024. The decrease in NTP was caused by a decrease in the Price Index Received by Farmers (It) of -0.13 percent or slower than the Price Index Paid by Farmers (Ib) which experienced an increase of 0.03 percent.
NTP per subsector of North Kalimantan Province June 2024, namely the Food Crop Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPP) of 101.36; Horticulture Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPH) was 103.93; People's Plantation Plantation Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPR) was 176.91; Livestock Farmer Exchange Rate (NTPT) of 104.24; and the Exchange Rate for Fishermen and Fish Cultivators (NTNP) of 100.06.
The Agricultural Household Business Exchange Rate (NTUP) for North Kalimantan Province in June 2024 was 116.14 or down -0.15 percent compared to the previous month's NTUP.
In June 2024 there was an increase in the Household Consumption Index (IKRT) in North Kalimantan Province by 0.04 percent with the highest increase occurring in the Supplies, Equipment and Routine Household Maintenance group and the Health group, each at 0.11 percent.
