  • The economy of North Kalimantan in 2022 as measured by the Gross Regional Domestic Product (GDP) at current prices reaches IDR 138.72 trillion and at constant 2010 prices it reaches IDR 66.53 trillion.
  • North Kalimantan's economy in 2022 (c-to-c) will grow 5.34 percent, compared to 2021. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Accommodation and Food and Beverage Provision business field of 10.94 percent. In terms of expenditure, the highest growth was achieved by the Export of Goods and Services component of 6.56 percent.
  • North Kalimantan's economy in the fourth quarter of 2022 when compared to the fourth quarter of 2021 (y-on-y) grew by 6.17 percent when compared to the same period the previous year. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Financial Services and Insurance business sector of 11.40 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Gross Fixed Capital Formation (PMTB) component of 6.32 percent.
  • North Kalimantan's economy in the fourth quarter of 2022 compared to the previous quarter (q-to-q) grew by 2.64 percent. From the production side, the highest growth was achieved by the Electricity and Gas Procurement business field of 6.04 percent. From the expenditure side, the highest growth was achieved by the Government Consumption Expenditure component of 13.69 percent.
  • Spatially, the economic growth for the Kalimantan Island region in 2022 grew by 4.94 percent with the highest growth in Central Kalimantan Province which grew 6.45 percent. Meanwhile, North Kalimantan occupies the second position with a growth of 5.34 percent.
