• Of the 90 municipalities monitored by the national CPI, in June 2021, 34 municipalities experienced inflation and 56 other municipalities experienced deflation. The highest inflation was in Singkawang Municipality at 1.36 percent, while the lowest inflation was in Tanjung Selor and Pekanbaru Municipality at 0.01 percent. The highest deflation was in Kupang Municipality at -0.89 percent, while the lowest deflation occurred in Palembang Municipality at -0.01 percent.
• Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined of Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) in June 2021 experienced a deflation of -0.15 percent. Meanwhile, Tanjung Selor Municipality experienced an inflation of 0.01 percent and Tarakan Municipality experienced a deflation of -0.18 percent.
• Deflation in Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined of Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) was influenced by a decrease in the index in the transportation group by -1.01 percent, clothing and footwear group by -0.16 percent, food, beverages and tobacco by -0.11 percent, housing, water, electricity, and household fuel groups by -0.07 percent and the health group by -0.02 percent. Meanwhile, inflation in Kalimantan Utara Province (Combined of Tarakan and Tanjung Selor Municipality) was influenced by the increase in the index in the personal care and other services group by 0.34 percent, the equipment, equipment and household routine maintenance group by 0.05 percent, the information group, communication and financial services by 0.01 percent, the recreation, sports and culture group by 0.01 percent, the education group by 0.00 percent and the food and beverage/restaurant supply group by 0.00 percent.
