In January 2024, Nunukan Regency experienced inflation of 2.98 percent. The commodities that contributed the most to inflation year on year were cayenne pepper at 0.54 percent, tomatoes at 0.47 percent and rice at 0.35 percent. Apart from that, there was deflation according to commodity groups, namely Clothing & Footwear at -3.44 percent and Communication Information & Profit Services at -0.94 percent.
